|I'm a graphic designer, world's fair consultant,
writer, and branding specialist.
Since attending my first world's fair in 1982, I've been fascinated by nearly every aspect of them. I continue to be inspired by the potential of future expos and their enormous capacity to educate and inspire the public to see beyond everyday life.
My interests in design, architecture, culture, history, internationalism and communication combined to create a lifelong passion for the potential of world's fairs. In 1998, I founded ExpoMuseum.com which has become the preeminent online world's fair source. In 2009, I co-founded The World's Fair Podcast.
It's been my privilege to have attended eight international expositions so far and been chosen to write for the official Expo 2012 blog and I'm very enthusiastic about other wonderful opportunities inherent in Milan's Expo 2015 and the various bids to host Expo 2017 and Expo 2020.
With my years of experience in graphic design and communication, I'm looking to continue to apply my skills and passion in the service of international expositions and themed entertainment in general.
This site outlines just some of my relevant experience. I can be contacted by email at Urso@ExpoMuseum.com or by phone at +1.415.867.9994.
